Every year Darebin City Brass participate in the Darebin RSL Anzac ceremony. This year it is scheduled a week earlier than usual due to Easter falling on the weekend prior to Anzac Day. Join us for a commemorative ceremony honouring all ANZACs who fought for Australia.

Victorian Reliance II Naming Ceremony

Darebin City Brass - Preston Band are proud to be participating in the naming ceremony for the new Toll ship Victorian Reliance II. Dignitaries attending include:

  • The Hon Melissa Horne, Minister for Ports and Freight, Minister for Public Transport

  • Mr Norikazu Suzuki – MP Parliamentary Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs – Government of Japan

  • The Hon Bill Shorten MP, Federal Opposition Leader

  • Paddy Crumlin – National Secretary, Maritime Union of Australia

The ceremony is being held at Webb Dock in Port Melbourne.
