Serving the needs of this many musicians costs money.  The City of Darebin has provided the band with great support over many years, and their continuing generous contributions ensures that we are able to meet the day-to-day expenses of the band.  However, the band has an ambitious agenda over the next five years, including hosting large-scale concerts, performing to new audiences (regionally, interstate and overseas) and recording new CDs.

Hiring a Band

All our bands within the Darebin City Brass organisation are available for hire at various events, including regional music festivals, street parades, corporate events, private functions, picnics, school fetes and concerts.  Collaborating with the hosts, the Musical Directors of the bands choose the pieces to be performed, considering the capability of the band, audience, venue and theme for the event.

Sponsoring a Band

Sponsorship opportunities could include promoting your business through:

• Advertisements in concert programs (audiences of different events range from between 100-1000)

• Exhibition-style banners displayed at DCB events

• On-stage and off-stage uniform (to be worn for a negotiated number of years)

• Future CDs released by the band

• Links from the band website
